Together We Are Strong (#JuntosSomosFuertes) was the theme of the 2026 Latino Summit hosted by the Delaware Hispanic Commission in Wilmington.

Leaders in the community, advocates, families, policymakers, entrepreneurs, students and local organizations took part in a day of panel discussions, cultural celebrations, networking and resource-sharing. Wilmington Mayor John Carney, Governor Matt Meyer and other dignitaries joined about 600 people.

“The event was successful, inspiring, amazing, and humbling,” said Carlos de los Ramos, Chair of the Delaware Hispanic Commission. “To see members of our community take a day off from work to be part of this Summit was powerful. They showed up, they participated, and they made this event successful. This is just the beginning. This is becoming more than an event. It is becoming a movement.”
