Shanghai Taste reported business was up about 60 percent compared to a normal weekend, coming close to its all-time high set before the pandemic.

“Shanghai Taste set almost an all-time record. It was our busiest three days in a row since 2023,” said Joe Muscalione, creator of Shanghai Taste and ChinatownVegas.com. “We had an hour wait from before we opened till after we closed.”
Other restaurants in Chinatown also reported more foot traffic, especially late at night after the concerts ended.
“It’s definitely more business, especially we open late, so we could get a lot of customers after the concert,” said Maho Sugai, general manager at Ichiza. “We did get busy after like 11pm, midnight.”
Wanrudee Virasing of Weera Thai said the BTS presence was hard to miss.
“But to be honest, I’m not a big fan. But I know them now,” Virasing said. “Because everywhere about BTS. And I think they’re kind of awesome.”
BTS is set to perform again Wednesday and Thursday. Businesses say they are working to keep up with the high demand by stocking more inventory and scheduling extra staff.
They also say they are already looking ahead to November, when Lisa from Blackpink comes to Las Vegas, hoping that show brings another wave of business to Chinatown.
