A new Mediterranean grocery story could be coming to Pearland, state records show.
An application was filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation last week for permits related to the construction of a 5,400-square-foot Mediterranean specialty market “selling all kinds of home grocery products.” The market, if finalized, would be located at 2125 E. Broadway Street in Pearland.
The facility name in the application is “Levant Mediterranean Market.”
The estimated cost of construction is $3.5 million. Construction is slated to begin Sept. 1 and wrap up by the end of the year, according to the application. The owner of the property is Levant Market, LLC. Representatives from the business could not be reached for comment.
