DeRozan, a 17-year NBA veteran who spent the past two seasons with Sacramento, became a free agent after he was waived by the Kings in July.
The 37-year-old guard averaged 18.4 points over 77 games last season. He ranks 16th all-time for points scored in NBA history with 26,711.
