TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —The annual Latino Fest returned to Twin Falls City Park today.
The event is put on by the South Central Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. It featured food vendors, bounce houses and music. A traditional Aztec dance performance was also held for people to watch.
Alejandro Castaneda, president and CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, said the event shows off Latino culture and contributions to the economy. He said it is also an opportunity for networking.
“We’re getting a lot of business to all this business so they know where their locations are in their respected communities,” Castaneda said. “But on top of that, what they need to do expect is great entertainment, cultural stuff.”
Latino Fest offered a lot to the people, and attendees enjoyed different things about it.
“I think it’s really nice, you know, this is a place where people come to get together and I mean we get to experience a little bit of the culture, you know,” said Alex Luna, a Hagerman resident.
“It’s just putting it all together. All these businesses coming together and having a network among themselves is the biggest highlight of the event,” Castaneda said.
Castaneda said he is glad Latino Fest has grown over the past five years. He and other attendees are excited for next year.

Castaneda said he likes preparing and setting up for Latino Fest.
“It’s just putting it all together. All these businesses coming together and having a network among themselves is the biggest highlight of the event,” Castaneda said.
