Edna Vazquez will bring her powerful and expressive voice to the Tower Theatre in Bend at 7 pm Sept. 22 to support the work of the Latino Community Association.
Vazquez is a featured vocalist and guitarist for the Portland band Pink Martini. Her songs blend mariachi, folk, rock, and pop into a powerful expression of culture and soul. Her dynamic voice and passionate stage presence touch hearts, leaving audiences spellbound. Young mariachi musicians from High Desert Middle School will also perform.
“Beyond her remarkable musical talents, Edna is a deeply passionate advocate for immigrant rights and social justice in Oregon,” said LCA’s Executive Director Catalina Sánchez Frank. “Her commitment to empowering marginalized communities aligns perfectly with the goals of the Latino Community Association.”
All proceeds from the concert will help LCA empower Latinos across Central Oregon through education, workforce development, legal support, health and housing assistance, and community integration.
