Real Madrid striker Rodrygo Goes reached a milestone in his recovery from the ACL tear he suffered in early 2026, as he completed some touches with the football during Monday’s training session with the group. The Brazilian forward won’t be expected to be cleared to play at least until January, according to reports published on the Spanish press.
Even then, Rodrygo will need significant time to improve his conditioning and even his confidence before he can actually contribute for Real Madrid. Los Blancos have depth in the attacking line, so expecting Rodrygo to be a major contributor this season might not be entirely realistic.
This is good news for Real Madrid, as Eder Militao also rejoined the squad in training this Monday. Rodrygo, Militao and Mendy remain the three long-term injured players on the squad.
