Red Flame Steak & Grill has closed its Katy location at 3211 Grand Pkwy after three years in business, the restaurant announced on Wednesday. Its flagship location in Magnolia remains in business.
“For the past three years, we have done our very best to give you the experience you deserved every time you walked through our doors,” Red Flame’s social media statement read. “We put our hearts and passion into every plate, every table, and every celebration and we truly hope that is how you will remember us.”
Julio Amer opened the first Red Flame in April 2019 at 7214 FM 1488, Community Impact reported. The space formerly housed a Patron Azteca, which closed in March 2016. Amer’s vision was to create a dining experience for both special occasions and casual nights out. The restaurant’s menu centered around open flame cooking and hardwood smoking and included a lineup of specialty burgers, pasta, seafood, soups and salads.
Amer opened the Katy location in August 2023. He did not disclose why the restaurant had to shutter.
“Katy, thank you for welcoming us into your community and allowing us to be part of your lives. We will carry all of these memories, and all of you, in our hearts,” Red Flame’s statement read.
