Mexico-based Salad Bowl has served customers in Puebla for the past 15 years, and now an evolved version of the concept, Fresh Bowl & Co., is making its debut in San Antonio’s Stone Oak, marking a new era for the family behind the business. The restaurant’s opening day is expected to be a celebration featuring freebies and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
A news release from Fresh Bowl & Co. announced that the eatery will hold its grand opening on October 17. The first 50 customers will receive a free bowl without protein or extras. On opening day, people who show up can try proteins and sauces while they wait to order.
Additionally, attendees at Fresh Bowl & Co.’s grand opening who make a purchase will be eligible to play the “Stop the Clock” challenge, which awards winners free hoodies, totes and other prizes.
“Bringing Fresh Bowl & Co. to San Antonio is about sharing a concept our team has spent years developing while creating something that feels at home in this community,” Javier Menendez, general manager of Fresh Bowl & Co., said in the news release. “We want every guest to have the freedom to build a meal they genuinely enjoy, using fresh ingredients, quality proteins and flavors that make every combination their own.”
Fresh Bowl & Co. offers customizable bowls with more than 50 ingredients, 10 proteins and 10 dressings. The business is in its soft opening and is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Going forward, it will be open Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
