Oakwell’s first franchisees are targeting the Las Vegas Arts District

The franchise expansion takes Oakwell beyond its Colorado base

Husband and wife team Andrew and Gina Lanzino are the new franchisees

Oakwell has identified more than 100 potential US growth markets

Oakwell Beer Spa has signed its first franchise agreement, bringing its social wellness concept to Las Vegas and marking the brand’s first expansion outside Colorado, US.

The Colorado-based business combines private spa suites with a craft beer and wine taproom. Its suites feature hydrotherapy soaking tubs, infrared saunas and rain showers, alongside botanical bath infusions. Oakwell says its hospitality-led, technology-enabled model is designed to reduce reliance on licensed service provider staffing while appealing to customers beyond traditional spa-goers.

Oakwell first opened in Denver in 2021 and has since expanded to a second company-owned site in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Spa Business reported on the brand’s nationwide franchising plans in December 2025, including details of the Highlands Ranch site, which was developed as a prototype for future franchise locations.

The Las Vegas agreement is the first since Oakwell began offering franchise opportunities.

The new location will be developed by husband-and-wife team Andrew and Gina Lanzino, who are evaluating sites with a particular focus on the city’s Arts District.

Andrew Lanzino moved to Las Vegas in 2004 after completing his military service and later earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from UNLV. He spent more than 20 years as a corporate strategist, most recently serving as senior vice president of strategy and citywide events at MGM Resorts International, where he helped deliver events including Super Bowl LVIII, the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix and New Year’s Eve on the Strip.

He currently teaches strategy and implementation at UNLV’s Harrah College of Hospitality while pursuing a PhD in global tourism and hospitality. Gina Lanzino has experience in sales, marketing, operations and entrepreneurship and is founder and president of 5678 Dance, a Las Vegas non-profit supporting local dancers.

The couple discovered Oakwell after Andrew first encountered the beer spa concept while visiting a beer spa in Prague during his MBA studies. He later explored ways to bring the idea to Las Vegas before finding Oakwell.

Andrew Lanzino said: “Las Vegas runs at full speed around the clock. We want to give them somewhere to slow down, reconnect, and genuinely relax. That’s what drew us to Oakwell.”

The brand’s founders, Jessica and Damien Zouaoui, also drew their inspiration for the concept from international travel, spending 14 months visiting 25 countries before launching the business.

Oakwell is now pursuing franchise growth in markets including Phoenix, Austin, Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, Kansas City and Charleston.

The company’s treatments use beer-related ingredients including hops and barley, while the taproom provides a social element intended to make the spa experience accessible to people who may not traditionally visit spas. Spa Business has previously explored Oakwell’s approach to combining beer culture and wellness.
