The new 160,000 sq ft campus expands Doppelmayr USA’s capacity to design, manufacture, train, and support customers throughout the United States and Canada while positioning the company for continued growth and innovation.
Doppelmayr has been serving the North American ropeway market for decades and has been manufacturing ski lifts in Utah since the early 2000s. The company traces its roots in the United States to the pioneering ropeway manufacturers that helped shape the modern ski industry and has become a trusted partner to ski resorts, tourism destinations, and transportation providers across the continent.
Located near Salt Lake City’s international airport and many of North America’s premier mountain destinations, the new facility substantially expands Doppelmayr USA’s production, warehousing, engineering, and training capabilities. The investment reflects the growing demand for ropeway transportation solutions and reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to innovation, workforce development, and customer support. The facility will create additional opportunities for skilled manufacturing and technical training jobs in Utah
