Sofia Carson attended the 2026 TIME Latino Leaders celebration in Miami on Tuesday, where she delivered a speech honouring her Colombian-American heritage and paying tribute to her mother.
For the occasion, the actress and singer wore a red halterneck panelled dress from Lanvin’s Spring 2027 collection, designed by Peter Copping. I love the vibrant colour, the fluid layers and the sweeping train, which gave the look a sense of occasion. The silver Vhernier jewellery and sleek low ponytail were the perfect finishing touches.
Sofia hasn’t given us one of her signature grand ballgown moments in quite some time, and I must admit, I still look back on those moments fondly.
Her style has changed considerably in recent years, but what I appreciate about this Lanvin look is that it retains some of that old-school glamour, even with a more relaxed silhouette. I would happily welcome more of this.
