This year, they’re calling for help after the natural disasters that struck the Houston area this year, making life tough for restaurant workers.
As per tradition, dozens of Houston-area restaurants will provide specially priced menus that will benefit the Houston Food Bank.
“An extensive list of the most popular restaurants will participate and serve specially priced, multi-course prix fixe menus for brunch ($25), lunch ($25), or dinner ($39 or $55), available for dine-in and take-out,” Houston Restaurant Weeks says on its website.
For every $1 donated, three meals will be generated by the Houston Food Bank.
“As Houston Restaurant Weeks enters its 20th year of dining out for a cause, Houston Food Bank is grateful for the continued support of the Cleverley Stone Foundation. We also want to congratulate the Cleverley Stone Foundation on this special anniversary, and we look forward to being a part of this event for the next 20 years,” Houston Food Bank President and CEO Brian Greene said.
