Division III announced a new initiative with NCAA Digital (managed and operated by TNT Sports) to stream over 200 additional games free to fans from the 2024 fall NCAA Division III championships on ncaa.com via Hudl technology. This partnership aims to enhance the visibility and accessibility of Division III championships.
“Each year, Hudl’s livestreaming technology and enhanced broadcasting software delivers over 20,000 live broadcasts of NCAA DIII competition to fans across the world,” said Tony Linder, Hudl fan market director. “Hudl is thrilled to be part of this collaboration with the NCAA Division III membership and TNT Sports to provide greater visibility and fan engagement for these incredible championship events, helping to make every moment for these student-athletes count.”
Every game from the Division III Field Hockey, Men’s Soccer and Women’s Soccer Championships will be livestreamed on ncaa.com. Additionally, all women’s volleyball games before the Division III quarterfinals will be included. As in prior years, the Division III Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships races will also be livestreamed on ncaa.com. Every Division III game will be available at ncaa.com/champs-pass and the “NCAA Championships Pass” app for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku and Android TV devices.
This agreement marks a significant step forward in providing comprehensive coverage and greater exposure for Division III championships, ensuring fans can support their favorite teams and athletes from anywhere. It also aligns with a strategic priority of Division III, which implemented a new requirement this year that all team hosts must livestream every round of Division III team championships.
“The Division III membership prioritized branding and marketing of the division, and through the support of the governance structure, we have been able to work with TNT Sports and Hudl to provide greater exposure for our Division III championships,” said Louise McCleary, vice president of Division III.
