Deion Sanders is wasting no time making Colorado a major recruiting destination again — and this weekend proves it.

The Buffaloes are hosting one of the most high-powered visitor lists in the country, highlighted by multiple five-star prospects and blue-chip talent from across the nation.

At the top of the list is Felix Ojo, the No. 1 recruit in Texas and the No. 4 overall prospect in the 2025 class, per the On3 Industry Ranking.

The Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge offensive tackle is a program-changer — and he’ll be on campus in Boulder, according to On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

He won’t be alone.

Jase Mathews, the No. 8 wide receiver nationally, is also set to take his official visit. The elite pass catcher has praised Colorado and is weighing his options between Coach Prime and several top SEC contenders.

In the backfield, KJ Edwards — On3’s No. 4 running back — is trending toward a Texas-Texas A&M battle, but this weekend offers Colorado a prime shot to shake up his recruitment.

Tight end Gavin Mueller out of South Elgin (Ill.) High will announce his commitment on May 15, with Colorado among the final four.

And then there’s Jalen Lott.

The No. 2 athlete in America arrives for an unofficial visit, bringing with him a dual-threat profile at receiver and corner. With Travis Hunter — now the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft — as a blueprint, Sanders has a compelling pitch for two-way stars.

After finishing 9–4 in 2024 with an Alamo Bowl appearance, Colorado enters the offseason with momentum.

Shedeur Sanders was drafted in the fifth round, Shilo Sanders signed with the Buccaneers, and Coach Prime’s recruiting machine is running hot.

This weekend? It’s just the latest message for the sport’s biggest heel.
