Two of the biggest holidays in the United States are taken over by football.
The NFL has a tripleheader of games scheduled for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, it announced May 14 with the release of the entire schedule for the 2025 season.
The Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys all play on both holidays, with a set of division rivalries for each matchup on Christmas.
