Massachusetts native Cam Schlittler is scheduled to make his Major League Baseball pitching debut Wednesday night, SportsCenter 5 has learned. Schlittler, who grew up in Walpole and attended Northeastern University, is being called up to the show by the New York Yankees and will start against the Seattle Mariners.The 24-year-old, 6-foot-6-inch-tall pitcher was drafted in the seventh round by New York in 2022.According to an MLB report, Schittler’s fastball tops out at 98 mph. He started the year in Double-A and dominated at each level.
