LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The city of Las Vegas announced that it’s offering grants to businesses for improving their security.
Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for businesses within city limits to add security features.

That could include permanent fencing, security cameras, more lighting, shatter-proof glass, and security enclosures for heaters/air conditioners.
To qualify, properties must be located within Redevelopment Areas 1 and 2 and possess an active business license issued by the city.
Properties with multiple retail tenants and/or vacant storefronts will be limited to one grant per storefront.
