A pair of former Oregon quarterbacks will square off in an NFL game Sunday, Sept. 21 when Justin Herbert’s Los Angeles Chargers host Bo Nix’s Denver Broncos in SoFi Stadium.
Herbert, now in his sixth NFL season, has helped guide the Chargers to a 2-0 start. He’s thrown for 560 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions in 2025. The Broncos are 1-1 and Nix, a second-year pro, has thrown for 382 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions.
This will be the third meeting between the former Oregon stars, with Herbert coming out on top in both games between the AFC West rivals in 2024.
