The Hotel Havana on the River Walk in San Antonio is closing its doors. The San Antonio Business Journal reports that the closure will cancel all reservations and events booked on or after October 20th, as well as events planned for 2026.

The Hyatt-managed, 27-key hotel at 1015 Navarro St. is owned by Bunkhouse Hotels, which completed its restoration in 2010. A new ownership group has not been identified. The hotel’s restaurant, Ocho, closed on June 29th, due to a scheduled renovation.

Built in 1914 by grocer Edward Franz Melcher, Hotel Havana is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its Mediterranean Revival architecture.
