An armored SWAT vehicle rammed into the side of a stolen semi-truck during a dangerous police chase across Orange County Wednesday morning.
LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A driver was taken into custody Wednesday morning after leading California Highway Patrol officers on a wild chase in a semi-truck that was reported stolen.
The chase began around 10 a.m. in the Ontario area and remained mostly in Orange County.
At one point, an armored police vehicle slammed into the semi-truck during an unsuccessful PIT maneuver.
The chase lasted about an hour and ended in the Buena Park area.
Authorities said a passenger was possibly being held against their will in the truck. The relationship between the driver and
passenger is unknown, but Eyewitness News is working to get more information.
