Bally’s Corporation has announced plans for an entertainment resort on the Las Vegas Strip that will share a campus with the new stadium being built for the Athletics Major League Baseball team.

Plans for Bally’s Las Vegas are being submitted for entitlements to Clark County, with work expected to commence in the first half of 2026. It will form part of a 36-acre campus that will include the new A’s stadium, which broke ground in June and is due to be completed in 2028.

The stadium and the new Bally’s resort will be built on the former site of the Tropicana Las Vegas casino resort. Bally’s Las Vegas will feature two luxury hotel towers totalling 3,000 rooms, a 2,500-capacity entertainment venue, and more than 500,000 square feet of retail, dining and entertainment offerings.

The resort will also include a casino and a VIP experience with direct access to the ballpark. Marnell Architecture is the architect of record, with real estate company JLL to lead retail and dining sourcing efforts.

Soo Kim, chairman of the board of directors at Bally’s Corporation, said: “Bally’s Las Vegas represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to redefine the heart of the Strip. With world-class partners like JLL and Marnell, and with the arrival of Major League Baseball, we are not just building an integrated resort. We are creating a landmark destination that unites sports, entertainment, dining and hospitality on a scale only Las Vegas can deliver.”

The new A’s stadium will have a capacity of 33,000. The stadium has been designed by Bjarke Ingels Group and HNTB, and is set to offer views of the Las Vegas Strip.

The A’s left Oakland last year and the team is playing in Sacramento while its new Vegas ballpark is being built. Fans in Las Vegas will get an early taste of MLB action next year after the A’s announced plans to stage six games at Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the team’s Triple-A affiliate.
