Ector County ISD has several events coming up.
Saturday, Oct. 25 – Career and Technology Education Community Fair – Phlebotomy students need volunteers to get the number of “sticks” they need for certification; CPR certifications; Boo Boo Bear clinic for children to bring a stuffed animal to be examined, x-rayed, and given a clean bill of health; carnival games; and car show. The phlebotomy sticks are from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and the family games are 1-4 p.m. Also, the fashion design program will be doing a sewing clinic at 11:30 a.m. All of this is at New Tech Odessa, 300 E. 29th St., Odessa.
Saturday, Oct. 25 – OCTECHS Spirit Club is hosting a Trunk or Treat event at OC from 6-8 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 27 – Red Ribbon Week Kickoff at the Administration Building, 802 N. Sam Houston Ave., 10 a.m.
Monday, Oct. 27 – Certification Fair, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at NTO; designed for District of Innovation teachers and Instructional Facilitators to connect with high quality educator preparation programs for certification
Tuesday, Oct. 28 – Guiding Hands, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at New Tech Odessa. This is a Texas Tech outreach, but ECISD closely partners with them to give guidance to parents of special needs children. This is the second monthly program.
Wednesday, Oct. 29 – Pease Family Fiesta, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Music, student dance, student art, hands-on activities, and more.
Thursday, Oct. 30 – 4th Annual Food Show at the Odessa Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, 305 E. Fifth St., from 5-8 p.m.
