BEND, Ore. — Young business owners took center stage Sunday at the Kids’ Entrepreneur Market, giving children and teens the chance to sell their own products and learn real-world skills at the Elks Lodge in Bend.
The kid-run market, open to ages 7 to 17, featured handmade gifts, artisan crafts, artwork, jewelry, food and drinks. Participants created and sold their own items, gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, money management and customer service.
Organizers said the market was designed to help kids build confidence, explore creativity and learn skills beyond the classroom in a fun, supportive environment.
