Adam Dempsey joined Hunton Andrews Kurth as a partner in its oil and gas corporate and transactions practice in Houston, the firm announced Thursday.

Dempsey advises clients on energy transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and financings across the upstream, midstream and energy transition sectors. He has represented public and private companies in foreign and domestic transactions, including the purchase and sale of upstream and midstream oil and gas assets in major onshore U.S. basins and offshore oil and gas assets, the firm said.
