The Iowa State women’s basketball team will still be without one of its most important players off the bench when the Cyclones play at Houston on Dec. 31.
Guard Reese Beaty is the only Iowa State player listed on the team’s availability report, which came out on Dec. 30. Beaty will miss the 10th-ranked Cyclones’ game at Houston on Wednesday.
The freshman has been dealing with a foot injury that has kept her out of Iowa State’s last four games.
“She’s working out,” Iowa State coach Bill Fennelly said in an interview with The Des Moines Register Monday. “We’re starting to get her back into individual workouts. Her conditioning is being ramped a little bit.”
