LOVELAND, Colo. – Nevada Skiing completed its first race of the 2026 campaign Monday, competing in the Slalom portion of the Denver Invitational.
Pietro Bisello had the highest finish for all Wolf Pack skiers, coming in 14th on the men’s side. Bisello, in hiis first race with Nevada, was in 24th after his first run before a second run of 45.50, seventh-fastest in the field, moved him up 13 spots with a final combined time of 1:32.34.
Ryan Herhusky also finished in the top 20, coming in tied for 18th just two-tenths of a second behind Bisello at 1:32.54. David Morken (1:33.19) and Peyton Wells (1:35.31) were the remaining two Wolf Pack men’s skiers who completed both runs.
Erica Lynch highlighted the women’s side with the top second run among the field, crossing the line in 45.11. The run moved her up 12 spots to a 15th-place finish with a total time of 1:31.33.
Zali Sutton (1:32.22) and Charlotte Clément (1:32.34) finished 21st and 22nd, respectively. Jessica Blackburn (1:32.87) and Sophia Falter (1:37.66) also completed both runs.
The Wolf Pack competes in Slalom again Tuesday as part of the Colorado Invitational. The first run is scheduled for 9 a.m. PT. From there, Nevada heads to Aspen for two days of Giant Slalom Wednesday and Thursday.
