MLK DREAM WEEK: NIGHT OF SERVICE
Date and Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday
Location: Holmes Student Center, Regency Room
Join the Center for Black Studies to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr in a night of service. Students can come together and create meaningful action such as sorting food and clothing items for the Huskie Closet and Huskie Food Pantry.
SIXTY YEARS OF PRINTMAKING AT NIU: A LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE
Date and Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday
Location: Altgeld Hall first floor, NIU Art Museum
The NIU’s school of Art and Design is hosting its “Sixty Years of Printmaking at NIU: A Legacy of Excellence.” The art gallery, held in the NIU Art Museum, features art by former NIU faculty, alumni and visiting artists.
Date and Time: noon to 2:30 p.m.

If you want to take a try at arts and crafts, the Center for Latino and Latin American studies is hosting an afternoonful of coloring, creating and crafting at their Crafting with CLLAS event. The event is free and open to the public

Folk singer and songwriter Dennis Warner is coming to DeKalb for a free concert held in the DeKalb Public Library. Warner has released seven albums and in 2012 was named one of the best Folk singers by radio metering service Folk DJ.
