Wedgewood-Houston warehouse listed for sale | Development

Metro records are unclear as to the ownership entity. However, the records note the owner acquired the 1.64-acre property in mid-1976 for $39,174.

Southern Optical is the structure’s lone tenant, with the company’s lease expiring this November. Southern Optical, which manufactures eyewear, has operated from the warehouse since 1994, according to marketing materials.

Of note, the seller in the 1976 deal acquired the property in 1946.

The property is zoned for industrial and warehousing/distribution usage.

The owner has enlisted Nashville-based commercial real estate company Sagemont (for which partner Trent Yates is overseeing) to handle the marketing and sale of the property.
