Ole Miss football coach Pete Golding continues to add pieces to the Rebels’ 2026 transfer portal class.
Miami offensive tackle Tommy Kinsler committed to Ole Miss on Jan. 24, per On3.
Kinsler is the 28th addition in the Rebels’ transfer portal class for 2026. Golding’s class ranks No. 2 nationally behind Lane Kiffin and LSU.
Kinsler is a 6-foot-6, 340-pound player who will be a redshirt junior. He did not start any games in 2025 for the Hurricanes, but he participated in 12. That includes Miami’s 31-27 win over Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl and the national championship game against Indiana.
Kinsler is the fourth offensive lineman transferring to Ole Miss. He joins tackle Carius Curne (LSU), tackle Enoch Wangoy (Florida) and interior offensive lineman Troy Everett (Oklahoma).
Offensive tackle is a bit of a question for the Rebels in 2026. The starting tackles from 2025 — Diego Pounds and Jayden Williams — are graduating and pursuing the NFL.
Kinsler projects to be in consideration to start at left or right tackle. Look for the competition at those two spots to be robust in the spring. Curne, who was a four-star recruit, will be in the mix for a spot along with junior Terez Davis. Wangoy is a developmental option as well.
The move comes as Golding is in the headlines. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney blasted Golding in a press conference on Jan. 23 for tampering with linebacker Luke Ferrelli, who transferred to Ole Miss after initially transferring to Clemson.
