Penn State basketball’s lead guard Ace Baldwin Jr. has a chance to earn some more hardware as he was named a finalist for the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award, along with being named to the Oscar Robertson Trophy and Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Watchlists.
In 23 games this season, Baldwin has averaged 13.7 points, 7.3 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.9 steals for Penn State. He was a semifinalist for the Defensive Player of the Year last season while winning the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year Award.
Fans can vote for Baldwin when it comes to the Cousy Award on hoophallawards.com. Votes will count as one committee vote during the finalist selection process.

The Oscar Robertson Trophy, awarded to the nation’s top player, will be announced during the Men’s Final Four in San Antonio. Other players on the watch list include Rutgers duo Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper, Alabama’s Mark Sears, Purdue’s Braden Smith and Michigan State’s Jaden Atkins.
Baldwin was one of 15 players for the DPOY watch list, and the only player from the Big Ten Conference.
