Singapore-based content service provider (CSP) Aeroplay Entertainment has appointed André Valera as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. Most recently, Valera served as VP Business Development at Conetic Group, which consists of Touch Inflight Solutions, ABOVE and Oxygen.
Valera believes his experience with Conetic will be useful during his tenure at Aeroplay Entertainment. During the 2026 APEX Content Market in Dubai, he explained, “After almost a decade at Touch helping to build a media distribution ecosystem that disrupted the way content service provision actually works and that grew to a large scale, I was invited to join a project where I think I can provide the same type of value.
“I’m looking forward to scaling the Aeroplay business, which has primarily been focused on South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, across the globe. To do that, we are going to be leveraging the ecosystem the group is building around technology,” Valera commented. “The portfolio includes Maxposure Limited, Neutral Digital and other companies that, when combined with Aeroplay Entertainment, provide more value to our airline partners. That value goes beyond just the media to the whole in-flight entertainment (IFE) design from the UI/UX to the engagement strategy of our customers.”

Valera’s vision for Aeroplay Entertainment is to create a modern travel media platform that makes distribution faster and smarter via a partner-led ecosystem where airlines, OEMs, IFE platforms, studios, and tech enablers can work together. Furthermore, he envisions this platform including a passenger experience layer native to the digital world, one that is personal, responsive and outcome-driven.
Aeroplay Entertainment’s products include a wireless, battery-operated in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) solution, Aerohub, and its accompanying software platform Skyview.
