Atlanta — Aug 11, 2025

Brett Lacy, Managing Director of Workforce Solutions at ARC

The Atlanta Regional Commission today announced that Brett Lacy has joined the agency as Managing Director of Workforce Solutions.

In this role, Lacy will also serve as Director of the Atlanta Regional Workforce Development Board (ARWDB), leading the implementation and compliance of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) in the 7-county service area (Cherokee, Clayton, Douglas, Fayette, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale counties).

Lacy comes to ARC from Fulton County, where he served as Deputy Director of the county’s Workforce Division. At Fulton, he managed the county Workforce Development Board, overseeing development and management of the annual budget, four-year strategic plan, and identification of strategic priorities and program strategies.

“Brett is a proven leader who brings extensive knowledge of the workforce development landscape and a strong track record of innovation and results-oriented strategic planning,” said ARC Executive Director & CEO Anna Roach. “We are excited to welcome Brett to ARC and look forward to working with him to strengthen our region’s workforce and economic competitiveness.”

Lacy replaces Rob LeBeau, who is retiring after 25 years at ARC, including the last decade as Managing Director of Workforce Solutions.

Prior to Fulton County, Lacy worked as Programs Director at the Georgia Department of Economic Development – Workforce Division. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia and a B.A. in Political Science, also from UGA. His community activities include serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Eagle Scout Northeast Georgia Council.
