Area residents graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology – Daily Freeman

Jarrod Pomerantz of Wallkill graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a master of science degree in manufacturing and mechanical system integration, and a bachelor of science degree in electrical mechanical engineering technology.

Danielle Carollo of Wallkill graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a master of science degree in data science.

Zachary Edelstein of Shokan graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor of fine arts degree in illustration.

The following area residents graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with bachelor of science degrees:

Dustin Fisher of Saugerties, computer engineering technology major. Carter Vail of Saugerties, software engineering major. Adin Wistreich-Tannenbaum of Gardiner, computer science major. Abigail Carpenter of Pine Bush, mechanical engineering technology major. Alexander Gruber of Red Hook, mechanical engineering technology major. Paavo Hegley of Staatsburg, mechanical engineering technology major. Rachel Reed of Catskill, computer science major.

Mary Bridget Loughlin of Kingston graduated, magna cum laude, from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont, with a degree in health science. She was also named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

Students earn dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Ethan Kent Heinly of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, with a bachelor of arts degree in quantitative economics.

An Arlington High School graduate, Heinly is the son of Matthew and Aimee Heinly of Poughkeepsie.

Four area residents — Angela Quezada of Kingston, Josh Arsenault of Saugerties, Jaiden Allen of Marlboro, and Tyson Rogers of Wallkill — graduated from Buffalo State College with undergraduate degrees.

Quezada received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. Arsenault graduated with a bachelor of science degree in technology education. Allen graduated with a bachelor of science degree in fashion and textile technology. Rogers graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology.

Emma Barry of Rhinebeck was named to the president’s list at the College of Charleston in South Carolina for the spring semester.

Barry is majoring in elementary education.

Lila Rydell of Wallkill was named to the dean’s list at the College of Charleston for the spring semester.

Rydell is majoring in business administration.

Two area residents — Mackenzie Wade of Rhinebeck and Jeannine Bonnick of Staatsburg — were named to the dean’s list at Vermont State University for the spring semester.

Students earn dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Seven area residents — Quentin A. Compeyre of Kingston, Xea Ciccone Kirkland of Saugerties, Julia B. Caster of Stone Ridge, Silas M. Schwartz of Rosendale, Ryan D. Hovey of Gardiner, Makayla J. Mackey of Wallkill and Henry Patrick Hoey-Wasow of Rhinebeck — were named to the dean’s list at Clark University in Worcester for the spring semester.

Caster, Schwartz, Hovey and Hoey-Wasow were named to first honors. Compeyre, Kirkland and Mackey were named to second honors.
