The Seattle Sounders will visit Atlanta United at a seemingly opportune time. Atlanta has been struggling all year, but are currently mired in a seven-game winless run that goes back to May 28. They are stuck in 13th in the Eastern Conference and are pacing for their worst-ever season.
The Sounders, meanwhile, come in on a five-game unbeaten run that started after the Club World Cup. During those five games, the Sounders have scored 12 goals and have climbed up to fourth in the Western Conference.
