Here are noteworthy Atlanta restaurants that opened in June, 2024.

Round Trip Brewing Company opens second location OTP

Round Trip Brewing Company opened at Avenue East Cobb on June 15. There are 10 beers on tap with a focus on “typical and üntypical” German-style beer, including Straight Outta Munich Spezial Helles, Instant Krüsch Extra Pale Kölsch, Oktoberfest Märzen, Dunkel Platz, Vicarious West Coast IPA, and more. The second location comes after the West Midtown flagship spot which opened in 2021. Expect German food fare like bratwursts, cheesesteaks, and pretzel bites, and an indoor/outdoor bar, a private patio, and an event space for up to 78 people.

Plantbaed Cafe offering walnut meat tacos and burgers opens in Vinings

Anne Onyeneho, a former healthcare worker, started cooking plant-based dishes when her sister was diagnosed with fibroids, according to Atlanta Magazine. After documenting her cooking journey on social media and self-publishing her cookbook, Onyeneho opened Plantbaed Cafe in Vinings on June 14. The menu includes falafel patty burgers, fried ‘shroom and waffles, and walnut meat tacos.

Perc Coffee opens fifth Atlanta location in Chastain Park

The popular Perc Coffee, with locations in Virginia-Highland, East Lake, Grant Park, and Tucker, now has a brand new spot in Chastain Park. With a soft-opening on June 6, the coffee shop features six signature drinks, including the good times latte, condor mocha, and a seasonal summer drink with wild espresso, lime simple, grenadine, and bubbles. A full kitchen menu offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

SabaRaba’s has a permanent location in Chamblee

Owner Udi Hershkovitz expanded his Mediterranean street food on June 5 with a permanent location in Chamblee. You may recognize SabaRaba’s for serving out of a yellow shipping container kiosk in Sandy Springs. Expect pitas and wraps filled with falafel, shawarma, and gyro meat, plus beer and wine in addition to frozen drinks like limonana, a mint and lemon slushie.

“This is an exciting time for SabaRaba’s,” says Hershkovitz in an official statement. He formerly ran Marrakesh in Ponce City Market and currently also runs the South American restaurant FuegoMundo in Sandy Springs. “While our Sandy Springs kiosk is great for quick service and to-go meals, our new brick-and-mortar location offers more flexibility for what we can have on the menu and a more relaxed dining experience.”

Azucar Cuban Cuisine opens in Brookhaven, expected in Buckhead

The Cuban food truck by Alvaro Carta is now a permanent spot in Brookhaven, with another outpost expected in Buckhead. The brick-and-mortar spot opened on June 3, and another kiosk in Lenox Square is set to open later this summer. Expect cuban sandwiches, loaded fries, empanadas, piled high pan con bistec, coffee, and desserts.
