Authorities were chasing a vehicle in San Bernardino County on Sunday evening.
The pursuit, which began in Ventura County and proceeded through Los Angeles County before reaching San Bernardino County, was related to a traffic violation, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
The California Highway Patrol took over the pursuit from the sheriff’s office when it reached the 101 Freeway near Thousand Oaks. The driver passed through the San Fernando Valley and continued heading east on the 210 Freeway through the San Gabriel Valley, going through the Monrovia area around 6:30 p.m.
It crossed into San Bernardino County around 6:45 p.m. and onto the 215 Freeway shortly after 7 p.m.
Video from NewsChopper 4, which was over the pursuit for more than hour, showed several spike strip attempts being made.
No other details were immediately available.
