Backstage Reaction to MJF’s Surprise MLW Appearance
As noted before, this past Thursday’s Summer of the Beasts 2025 event for Major League Wrestling in New York City, New York featured MJF making a surprise appearance and attacked Mistico continuing their storyline feud in CMLL and AEW.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the general reaction within MLW’s locker room was one of happiness over then being more than pleased with how the entire moment came together.
Those spoken to within MLW reportedly stated that they were thrilled with how MJF’s surprise attack segment and the show itself played out. It was reported that MLW has been on a good run for attendance of their shows of late.
Kurt Angle Comments on “I Gave A Lot to My Sport & Business But I’m Paying The Price Now”
WTAE-TV Pittsburgh held a recent interview with WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. One of the topics discussed included Angle’s thoughts about the physical toll on his body from his lengthy pro wrestling career.
Angle detailed a list of injuries and surgeries that he has gone through over his two decades in pro wrestling and how his body is “paying the price” for the physical toll on him since his retirement from wrestling.
“Maybe I should have retired ten years earlier, but I’m very proud of my career.”
