(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville senior is taking his talents to college football!

Jaxon Brittle has committed to continue his football career at Anderson University.

He credited his family, friends and faith for making this dream become a reality.

“Words can’t even comprehend how this feels. It represents the early morning workouts I’ve put in, the injuries I battled though, and the sacrifices me and my family have made,” Brittle said.

Brittle is expected to play defensive end for the Anderson squad. He plans to major in Sports Management as well.

“I’m thankful for everyone at Batesville who have shaped me into the man I am today. This has been a long but rewarding road and I’m beyond excited for my next step,” he added.
