Undergraduate students at the C. T. Bauer College of Business achieved more than a line on their résumé at a recent case competition.
After more than a month of preparation and a week competing in Austin at the Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) Battle of the Brains, students gained soft skills, cultural understanding and scholarship prizes.
For years, Bauer College students have competed with their counterparts from across the nation to solve and present a case scenario in 24 hours. Additionally, the event connects students with representatives from national corporations and hosts panel discussions.
Getting Involved
Over the summer, college leaders started recruiting a team for the case competition. From the accepted applicants, students shared a variety of reasons why they applied.
