HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Clint Bawcom, who has led Cushman & Wakefield’s Houston office for four years, has joined the Transwestern Real Estate Services where he will lead Transwestern’s sizable commercial real estate operations in Houston.

Kevin Roberts, a 36-year veteran of Transwestern who has served as Houston’s market leader for 15 years, will transition to the role of Executive Vice President of Strategic Client Relationships, focusing on transformation initiatives that enhance client service, new business development, portfolio and account management, and mergers and acquisitions.

Bawcom will hold the role of Transwestern Executive Managing Director, Houston Market Leader. Bawcom will oversee the firm’s Houston operations, comprising more than 400 professionals and 82 million SF of leased and managed commercial space across the region.

“Kevin has played a pivotal role in shaping Transwestern’s presence in our headquarters market, and Clint is exceptionally equipped to take the helm of this robust services platform,” said Greg Munson, President of Transwestern Real Estate Services. “A natural leader with a track record of excellence, he shares our belief in the power of teamwork to drive optimal results.”

Munson continued, “This leadership transition is the result of significant forethought and succession planning among our executive team, as it positions us to continue our growth trajectory while elevating the integrated strategies that drive value for our clients. Transwestern is committed to building lasting partnerships, and bringing Clint on board provides the continuity to out-deliver both today and in the future.”

Bawcom has 25 years of experience in leasing, operations and business development for both public and private real estate companies. Before leading Cushman & Wakefield’s Houston office, Bawcom held senior leadership roles at Brookfield Properties and Cassidy Turley.

Bawcom Began His Career at Transwestern

Bawcom began his real estate career as a producer at Transwestern.

“Having worked at Transwestern early in my career, this is truly a full-circle moment for me,” said Bawcom. “I’m proud to return to the place where my passion for the industry took root — and to a team known not only for its market insight and service, but for a culture that is warm, strategic and authentically collaborative. I feel a deep sense of accountability to carry that legacy forward.”

“When I initiated this succession plan with my partners, there was one name on my list: Clint Bawcom,” said Roberts. “Having worked with Clint both inside the firm and as a client, I know the immediate impact he will have on our people, our business, and our goal of continued elevation of innovative client solutions. We are all committed to further acceleration of our growth under Clint’s leadership.”

Bawcom, a graduate of Southern Methodist University, he serves on the boards of The Forge for Families and Logos Leaders Outreach and is an active member of Grace Bible Church and the Bayou Breakfast Club.
