College football rankings for Week 5US LBM Coaches PollAP Top 25 poll

The Big 12 Conference had perhaps the most interesting week of any conference in college football in Week 4.

How its games affect the polls ahead of Week 5 remains to be seen.

No. 10 Utah vs. No. 15 Oklahoma State on Saturday — on paper, the headliner of the Week 4 schedule — saw the Utes without starting quarterback Cam Rising. However, Utah backup quarterback Isaac Wilson helped lead the Utes to a 22-19 win vs. the Cowboys, whose 16-point surge in the fourth quarter wasn’t enough to overcome a slow start.

Elsewhere, West Virginia outlasted Kansas (and a weather delay) to beat the Jayhawks 32-28 in Morgantown, West Virginia. TCU fell 66-42 to nonconference rival SMU in a game that saw Sonny Dykes ejected from the contest.

But perhaps no team had a wilder finish than Colorado, which beat Baylor 38-31 in overtime, which was necessitated by a last-second Hail Mary, premature field storming and forced fumble in OT, courtesy of Travis Hunter.

Here’s how those games and more impacted the Week 5 college football top 25:
