Earlier this week, Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant shared a photo on social media showing quarterbacks Bo Nix and Sam Ehlinger with several teammates on a boat with the caption, “Helluva weekend with the guys!!”
The group of players in the photo included receiver Troy Franklin, who hosted a youth football camp on Tuesday. Franklin was asked about Bryant’s boat photo and the receiver revealed to the Denver Post‘s Luca Evans that several Broncos players got together for an Austin-based workout session in Texas.
The throwing session was apparently organized by Nix and backup quarterback Sam Ehlinger, who Franklin dubbed the “sheriff” of Austin. Ehlinger, of course, was born in Austin and played college football for the University of Texas at Austin.
Broncos players are officially on summer break after the team wrapped up mandatory minicamp last week. Denver’s rookies are set to report for camp on July 22 and veterans will report on July 28.
