British Airways is set to restart flights from DFW International Airport to a popular summer vacation destination in the United Kingdom.
The carrier said it will fly a daily service between DFW Airport and London Heathrow Airport in summer 2026, restoring a route it cut earlier this year. British Airways stopped flying from DFW Airport into London in March, according to aviation publication Aerotime.
“We’re delighted to expand our long-haul network from London Heathrow and Gatwick next summer, adding more services to some of our most-loved destinations,” said Neil Chernoff, the airline’s chief planning and strategy officer, in a statement.
“Whether customers are travelling for business, leisure, or visiting loved ones, we hope they take advantage of these additional flights, which offer greater choice and convenience, making it easier than ever to connect with their favourite destinations around the world.”
Fort Worth-based American Airlines flies five daily flights between DFW Airport and London Heathrow, according to FlightsFrom.com.
British Airways also said it is bringing back twice-daily service between Miami International Airport and London Heathrow, in addition to bulking up its flight schedule from Las Vegas, San Diego and Austin to the United Kingdom.
