Brooklyn Park’s business community is prepping to come together for the 14th Annual Business Forward Forum, a yearly congregation aimed at bolstering local companies and fostering community organization engagement, all in the interest of advancing business growth within the city. Set to unfold over a mid-day meal, this year’s forum, slated to run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, is rooted in a “Future-Forward Growth” theme, eyeing the long-term expansion of Brooklyn Park’s business landscape.

According to details on the City of Brooklyn Park’s official bulletin, the Edinburgh USA Golf Course at 8700 Edinbrook Crossing will be the venue hosting the event showcasing leaders such as Mayor Hollies Winston and Tim Gladhill, the Community Development Director, as well as Malcolm Hicks, who heads Economic Development and Housing, talking about the latest in city initiatives and economic strategies; also get acquainted with Saolia Tucker, freshly appointed as the Business Development Coordinator, an addition set to bring renewed energy and insight to the city’s business outreach efforts.

Participating businesses and attendees will have the opportunity to gather invaluable resources from varied organizations that provide business and financing services crucial for sustaining and growing a business in today’s competitive environment. Networking, traditionally a pivotal component of such forums, is expected to be a focal point, with room for participants to exchange ideas and forge connections that could yield future collaborations.

The event promises to draw a mix of entrepreneurs, seasoned business owners, and fresh faces in the industry, all converging with a common goal: to share experiences, challenges, and triumphs in navigating the waters of commerce in a rapidly evolving economic climate—the dynamic panel discussion touching upon vital topics from technological advances to market trends, ensuring a comprehensive treatment of what “Future-Forward Growth” entails for local businesses.
