HEY MARIA. THEY NOT ONLY FINISHED THE JOB ON THEIR HOME COURT IN THIS GAME, THEY FINISHED THE JOB IN THE SERIES. IT TOOK FIVE GAMES, BUT IT WAS A DECISIVE CELTICS SERIES. SO DUKE NUMBER EIGHT TEAM IS GOING UP INTO THE RAFTERS. NUMBER 18. YOU KNOW HISTORY IS MADE TONIGHT. WE GOT TO SEE THAT. YOU KNOW THIS IS A TEAM THAT I THINK SHOULD BE CELEBRATED BECAUSE WIRE TO WIRE THEY LED. THEY WERE THE BEST TEAM IN BASKETBALL WITHOUT QUESTION. YOU KNOW THEY WENT EIGHT AND ONE IN THE CONFERENCE FINALS AND THE NBA FINALS, WHICH IS, WHICH IS THE MEAT OF THE TOURNAMENT TO MEAT OF THE TOURNAMENT, 16 AND THREE. AND THERE’S YOUR CONFETTI. WELL I WANT TO WANT EVERYBODY AT HOME. MARIA I KNOW YOU WEREN’T HERE. YOU COULDN’T EXPERIENCE THE CONFETTI THAT CAME DOWN, BUT THERE IT IS. THAT’S WHAT THEY’RE DOING. AND AS AS YOU TALKED DUKE AND AS WE TALK, SCOTT, IF YOU DON’T MIND, THIS IS WHAT THIS GAME HAS BEEN OVER FOR A WHILE. THE CELTICS WON AT 106 88. WE’RE BACK HERE LIVE IN THE GARDEN. IT IS. IT IS LOADED WITH CONFETTI. IT IS STILL LOADED WITH PEOPLE. THE COURT ITSELF IS FULL AND A TRUE CHAMPION WAS CROWNED TONIGHT. A TRUE CHAMPION WAS CROWNED. AND I HOPE PEOPLE APPRECIATE HOW GREAT THIS TEAM WAS. I MEAN, THEY PLAY BASKETBALL THE RIGHT WAY. THEY SACRIFICE FOR ONE ANOTHER. AND YOU KNOW, IT CAME TO THE POINT WHERE THEY MADE CHANGES IN THE OFF SEASON. JRUE HOLIDAY, JRUE HOLIDAY, KRISTAPS PORZINGIS, EVEN BRAD STEVENS GOING OUT AND TRADING FAN FAVORITE MARCUS SMART AND ROB WILLIAMS WHO WAS LOVED. AND ROB WILLIAMS AND MARCUS SMART HELPED THEM GET TO THE FINALS TWO YEARS AGO. RIGHT. BUT YOU KNOW, WICK GROSSBECK TOLD US THEY WEREN’T GOING TO RUN IT BACK. THEY WERE GOING TO MAKE SOME CHANGES BECAUSE THEY KNEW WHAT IT TOOK TO WIN. RIGHT? THEY WEREN’T GOOD ENOUGH TO WIN IT ALL. AND HOW ABOUT BRAD STEVENS TWO YEARS AGO AT THE DEADLINE GOING OUT AND GETTING DERRICK WHITE. THAT HELPED HIM GET TO THE FINALS IN 2020. ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED MOVES IN RECENT BASKETBALL HISTORY. AND THE DESPERATION THEY PLAYED WITH TONIGHT. I KNOW PEOPLE GOT ON IT FOR LOSING BY 38 POINTS IN GAME FOUR, BUT THE DESPERATION THEY PLAYED WITH TONIGHT, I MEAN, JUST THE WAY THEY STARTED THE GAME, THE CONFIDENCE, THE CONFIDENCE. THE MAVS WERE ONE FOR NINE FROM THE FIELD TO START THE GAME. YEAH. JRUE HOLIDAY HAD THE FIRST SIX POINTS. AND WHY WAS THAT. THE CELTICS DEFENSE WAS TOUGH. TH
