As many retailers like At Home close locations, Burlington is doing just the opposite. The off-brand department store is expanding its number of brick-and-mortar stores nationwide.
Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, recently announced plans to open 50 new locations across 19 states, according to its website. 11 of these stores opened in August, but there are still 39 to come by the end of October.
This is great news for shoppers who enjoy brand-name clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty, and home items at a fraction of the price. Plus, during each new store’s grand opening, there are $10 Bonus Card giveaways to really maximize savings.

In addition to these 50 new locations, Burlington has over 1,000 stores in the United States. The retailer opened its first store in 1972 in Burlington, New Jersey. It acquired its former name (Burlington Coat Factory) as it was operated out of a factory.
