Burlington’s “Latin American Connection” block party

MUSIC PERFORMANCES, AND CRAFTS TO CELEBRATE THE START OF APPLE PICKING SEASON. IF YOU WERE IN DOWNTOWN BURLINGTON THIS AFTERNOON, YOU MIGHT HAVE HEARD SOME MUSIC IN THE AIR THE LATIN AMERICAN CONNECTION BLOCK PARTY WAS IN CITY HALL PARK AS YOU HEARD, THERE WAS MUSIC, DANCING AND VENDORS SET UP IT WAS ALL TO CELEBRATE LATIN CULTURE AS WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH <00:00:40:16- 00:00:52:14> <“Burlington’s been known to be a diverse community. So the importance of this is to showcase the heritage culture and all that we add to this big city.”

The sound of music was in the air at City Hall Park in Burlington Sunday afternoon for the Latin American Connection block park.There was music, dancing, and a whole line-up of vendors, all to celebrate Latin American culture during Hispanic Heritage Month.”Burlington’s been known to be a diverse community,” said block party curator Maiz Vargas Sandoval. “The importance of this is to showcase the heritage culture, and all that we add to this big city.”The festival was part of Burlington City Art’s “Twilight Block Parties.”
