US fast-casual restaurant brand Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is set to launch its new outlet in Phoenix, Arizona.

The new restaurant at 3890 W Happy Valley Road, Suite 160, is set to open on 7 January 2026.

It will be owned and operated by Anthony and Julia Austin, a local married couple.

Anthony said: “Capriotti’s has been part of our lives for so many years that opening our own location just felt right. We’re excited to share the sandwiches we’ve loved for so long and bring that same experience to families here in Phoenix.”

Capriotti’s is known for its turkey subs and cheesesteaks. The company says that it slow-roasts whole, all-natural turkeys on-site.

Its menu includes The Bobbie, which combines turkey with cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo.

The brand’s offerings also include Capastrami, which is made with hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and house-made coleslaw.

Cheesesteaks are listed on the menu with a choice of steak, American Wagyu from Snake River Farms, chicken, or Impossible plant-based meat, with melted cheese, mushrooms, grilled onions, and a choice of hot or sweet peppers.

Capriotti’s new Phoenix location will support order-ahead, online ordering, third-party delivery, and catering services.

Founded in 1976, Capriotti’s currently operates more than 150 locations across the US.

In August, the brand opened a new restaurant in Marlton, New Jersey.

The Marlton establishment is the second Capriotti’s venture in New Jersey for Jimit Dharia and Urvi Jatania, a local entrepreneurial couple originally from India.

The duo, who also opened the Princeton location in January, are now settled in Central Jersey and plan to launch eight more Capriotti’s stores within the state.
