Cases & Lacambra incorporates Carlos Ripollés, until now co-founder and CEO in Latam of Meeting Lawyers, as a partner in its Miami office to strengthen ties with the Latin American market and consolidate the firm’s presence in the United States.
Carlos Ripollés
With more than 20 years of experience in the world of law and in the business development of legal operators in different markets and jurisdictions (among others Brazil, Mexico and Oman) Ripollés joins the firm, which has its own office in Miami, natural hub between Europe, the United States and Latam, from 2019.
Ripollés holds a law degree from ESADE and specializes in Business Law from the same institution.
Before joining Cases & Lacambra, Ripollés co-founded and was CEO in Latam of Meeting Lawyers where he implemented in the Latin American market the digital legal consultation service. During his time in Spain he developed his professional career at Baker McKenzie and in the treasury and capital markets legal advisory areas of Caixabank and BBVA. Subsequently, he started up the Iberia desk of several international firms. His track record includes the development of high-impact transactions, strategic market closings and the strengthening of commercial relationships in various markets.
“We are excited to have Carlos Ripollés join our team. His vast experience and strategic deal-making skills will be instrumental in meeting our goals of growing business relationships in Latin America and the United States,” says Miguel Cases, partner and executive chairman of the firm. “Accompanying our clients globally and internationally has always been on our roadmap. Having Carlos on the team allows us to continue moving forward and achieving our goals,” adds Ernesto Lacambra, managing partner of the firm.
